Hi everyone,

To accommodate the addition of a new highlighted server (Problem Solvers), we're testing a new cycling system for the highlighted servers. This means that out of the five servers currently on the highlighted list, only three will be highlighted at any given time, with the three chosen being switched out on a regular basis.

Right now, we're testing this system with three servers highlighted, changed per week (Monday at midnight); this may change as we find the ideal parameters to ensure maximum coverage of highlighted and non-highlighted servers alike.

And yes, all highlighted servers can still be played on. They may not be highlighted at this very instant, but they're definitely still there. If you'd like to keep track of them, a good way is to find them in the server browser, and then press Add to Favorites.

SubZer0, there are Five Highlighteds currently and atleast one server out there that deserves it but hasn't applied yet.

This is something they've been meaning to do for a long time, but haven't had the time to do so. Highlight isn't supposed to replace the normal server list, only give those that have really had lots of time invested into them the visibility they deserve.

I think 3 is a fair number. It will give all highlighteds in the list an equal amount of time. Currently Problem Solvers, Jman's, and BFP are orange, I'd imagine on either Monday or Thursday one of these three will be removed and either Racing or RLS will be orange. Trix mentioned it is not random and instead cycles, so conceivably we can calculate how often and which weeks our favorite servers are going to be orange, good if planning special events.

If possible, could you tell us what the cycle lineup looks like and/or what day it changes on, Philpax? If not that's alright.

hi guys, wondering...  why isnt survival district 134.255.220.245:7789 on the Highlighted Server Cycling ? It has all the requirements, offer a original game play, and it totally needs players.
Another server thats offers a dif game play, is ABK Server 208.94.240.70:7777

Sure they are in Dev, but so are the rest of them

Trip applied almost a month ago... altho he hasn't changed the ip there yet (had to change our machine due to server cost, and don't think we needed the 4 6core cpus and 30gb of ram anyways ;) ).

think the answer to your question tho is the devs are very busy, and don't think the survival district server has posted a request.

(also not sure just my a/d mode is worthy, I mean sure it meets requirements posted, but I plan for many more team based modes to be in the auto start such as: capture the flag, team deathmatch, escort(like payload from TF2), moneygrub(knock off from 'blood money' in the new BF:hardline), destroy/protect (object based a/d), vehicle tdm, and more. and need some more things to do in the 'lobby' such as: deathmatch, race, freeroam, etc... Then I don't see how the mode could be denied from the list :) )
