Okay so I just found out about this and I must say I was shocked when I heard the news. Definitely didn't see that one coming.

Even though I did not know sub that well, he's definitely an icon to this community. He's been around almost from the start as mentioned and I recall that he used to drive around figuring out racetracks on my old freeroam fun server.
Of course his PAROFED roadtrips were also known and he was often on servers I worked for.
So I guess you can say I know him, just not personally.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family who I'm sure will have a hard time processing this loss.

Sub, you'll be missed man. I hope you are in a better place now.

Stop coding? I don't think anyone here will mate :)

This came as a surprise for me as well, but I fully agree on the choice that's been made here. Once you lose willpower, the strength of the server gets lost.

I am very proud of the result that we, but mainy dev and lf, managed to create and as mentioned by dev, perhaps someone might take it over and continue where we left off.

Anyway, I will be off and on for jcmp and might still make some scripts from time to time. If anyone needs a design overhaul for a script for example, don't hesitate to ask.

It's been a cool ride gents, thanks to everyone involved!

If there will be another patch before release, can there be an option to have the old chat bar to type in? This new one clutters the screen while the old one looked really clean. I love this new patch, but that one thing is seriously annoying to me

Edit: I also saw these settings:
Added a setting to toggle vehicle camera snap and adjust timeout
Added a setting to toggle vehicle stunt camera

and I was wondering if these can also be added as functions we can change (like SetVehicleSnap())?

It's amazing to see all this progress in such a short time! One thing I am still missing is the option for km/h or mph though. We added that on our version, but it's a pain in the ass to keep doing that every time if we update the script with the latest changes and I think it would be a nice addition anyway :)

Other than that, I am really impressed by what this script can do :D

Link is down, can you reupload it? :)

We hope to welcome you to another roadtrip sponsored by and hosted on Gaveroid’s Scavenger

Hunt server, and designed and coordinated by our Mod, TheStuffJunky.

Sunday July 5th @ 3pm EDT

Welcome to the Gaveroid Panauja 2015.  This roadtrip will pit your skills of offroad pre-runner
style driving.  Using Jeeps and trucks (or whatever your fancy), you will spend a lot of time
using boost to maintain your balance on many uphill, on-edge cliff climbs, and drifting abilities
in very sharp cornering.  But, most importantly, this roadtrip will show off your skills of having

We start our adventure at the bottom of a mountain ridge south-west of desert airport 2 – this will
be the most difficult leg of the roadtrip.  When we reach the top of the mountain, we hook a
slight left and launch off towards the radar facility.  We drive up through the north-west desert
for about 5km to a military base and launch our vehicles towards the small lake.  We then cut
across central desert for a few kilometers and reach the northern part of the desert river and
cruise down the river, make a few lefts and rights, and launch our boats off at a small village in
south-central desert.  We then head for the swamps to cool off from the desert heat and drive
through some unmarked swamp roads eventually meeting mid-east shoreline for a short break.
After our break, we head through some more trees and cut westward through central desert for a
‘going for speed’ run and take a short climb up to desert airport 1.  We ‘free for all’ north-east to
another military base and take another small launch towards the river.  Across the river, we get
our vehicles and head south for another ‘free for all’-like ride to desert ship.  A few more lefts,
rights, jumps, and lost vehicles, we find ourselves at another village and take a big launch (near
where we launched our boats) and scale another mountain cliff.  At the top of the mountain,
where we started, we all launch and boost as hard as we can.

You can find a map showing the route we will be taking and the vehicles we will use here.

Looking forward to seeing you all at

I can confirm that this update makes the script usable to the point where server owners should really consider using this. I have been using this on Gav's Scavenger Hunt for quite some time now and with the latest set of bugfixes it's really a good and stable chat to use.

Just Cause 2 / Re: Why isn't JC2 not updated yet?
« on: June 02, 2015, 10:22:41 pm »
Last update was a year ago, c'mon the game deserve more updates so we can get more players to our servers. Thanks for reading  :)

There's one in the pipeline. If you check the wiki, you will see a new changelog showing quite interesting changes. There is no ETA for the update though and I prefer the devs taking time over rushing things.

The way things are now, do you think it would be possible to efficiently add this to jcmp at some point, SinisterRectus?

Just Cause 3 / Re: Just Cause 3 - Thoughts so far?
« on: May 07, 2015, 12:38:23 pm »
Looking at how much they improved JC2 based on what they knew was wrong in JC1, I think JC3 will be a high quality product with a proper port to PC. Avalanche knows how to handle these things and it's one of the few companies I still trust with these kind of things.

As for that hair: It'd be TressFX probably and therefore it needs quite a strong rig to enable it and keep everything running smooth.
I would not call the game a contender for GTA V, because the games are totally different. In GTA V you can do almost anything, in Just Cause you can destroy and cause chaos only. Both games have a different focus and gameplay.

Absolutely cool to see more people working on this. I have been working on it for some time as well, but since you are much further than me I think I'll let you go do it :) . Btw, maybe it's an idea to let cars drive around on roads. That actually looks normal and can be used in servers. The bones are cool, but like you said there is no way to actually animate a human model in the game

Hey guys! Just letting you know that I am currenty planning a new roadtrip event on this server as we speak. I will post the details later (maybe even today). Stay tuned!

This player [SS]Senpai said he was selling a player radar, said I would buy , he gave his price 35 lps , but he did not give the radar player .

Then he said to add as a friend and invited me to the base him catch one, but none of it killed me . and a thief .

[SS]Senpai is SCAMMER

wait... did you actually pay for something that's completely useless in jc-mp and in some way already implemented on most servers?
Sorry but you could've seen this coming from miles away :D
