Hope to see you around. I go to Alpha's Salt Factory. Hard to bump in to SD veterans like yourself. I still Play but not straight thru like the old days. I wouldn't leave this game for all the lockpicks in the whole world. Miss you all too. Been a long time and forgot very little. 8)

Obviously there are too many old SD players that are hurt and disappointed. Although I consistently stated I am not responsible, I will hear you all out and let you know if I make contact on my own and find out if there is ever a future or an official response from ING. Until then, ADD me on steam. I miss seeing all of you surviving. Always remember the good times. I'll be in the popular Alpha's Salt Factory to brush up on my lack of skills. It would be amazing to see some old players show these new ones who's boss. I saw ThaSock earlier. I know some of you are still around.

Minutely, how would be your perfect game mode?

Maybe your concept turns into a mod!

Hello! I have had a few Ideas about what I would love to see in JC2MP and I hope I could get some feedback here. I probably wasn't the first to ever bring it up but I was wondering, as I was so addicted to games like Twisted Metal and Carmageddon, if the derby script could be modified to mimic that gametype with each different vehicle to have its own weapons, special abilities and maybe even to be rigged so players cannot leave their car etc. I'm sure I could help with player support to compliment a successful 'Twisted Metal' derby script. Need a test server? I already have raised a few eyebrows from word of mouth. Please let me know what you think! 8)

I don't suppose you've gotten anywhere with this script? If not could I have a look at working on it as a pet project?

Sounds Great to me. I haven't put any time into testing anything but i'm quite confident its doable. It would be nice to get the chance to help you test it out! Add me in steam if you like. I know I could find some buddies to participate if need be. Thanks for responding!

The combined assault would need some sort of special ability to make things fair. The balancing system is in there for that reason. If we don't do something about that it isn't fun and has an obvious winner. There is nothing fun about a 20 versus 10 battle.

As there are afk's, spies and just complete newbs that still need to learn how the game is played, there is room for a little buffer zone and I think the balance system should be loosened up some. Its more complicated than just seeing it as simple math. Also, its not helping the clan effort and I have seen some players turn away because they could not join their usual squad or clan. There needs to be a sensitivity towards factors that dictate traffic. If there are no players, there is no game.
I'm a bit confused; are you talking about the balance system that's on the server or the fact that we're going to balance the roster for this event to even the odds?

I really feel the need to get this beta war going, I don't want to give a date yet, because I've been busy all this month. I would like to see if we could get the players to join a steam group so it's easier to chat with them when the event starts.

I apologize for the confusion.lol I was told to post my comments about the faction balance for the beta server and I assumed at first glance this was the right place. You're doing a great job. The first great war should be fun.
