It seems like your database is corrupt. To be sure, try executing 'pragma integrity_check' against the database.
When this happened to me, I dumped the database and recreated it, making sure not to copy over nonsensical/corrupt records.

Scripting / Re: How to build a self - built server in severbrower

The JC2MP documentation has some good info on exactly what you need to type in the console to install the jc2mp server on a linux distro.

OP has probably abandoned the idea, but this post might help future people so our answers aren't completely futile  ;)

Another option - and in my opinion the best one for a production server - is running the jc2mp server from a VPS (virtual private server) that you can rent monthly from a provider. The two most popular are DigitalOcean and OVH.

You can find the model and collision using Trix's model viewer module: https://github.com/trixnz/jc2mp-model-viewer/
That's if you're dedicated enough

If you wanted to animate this you would have to find the model id and collision for the door object and then spawn it is a StaticObject with the API. Then you could set the 'fixed' property to false on the StaticObject and simply change the y-component of the Vector3 position of the staticobject when you press L.

Anyway, interesting to see someone post a script.

This patch has some good stuff!
Thanks for fixing the StaticObject rotation bug and for the cool pathfinding utilities  :)

Be sure to check out Farquaad's YouTube channel for more jc2mp and jc3mp content.

We've also announced Survival Island, our next big project. We're making another survival server! This time around it's in Just Cause 3 Multiplayer. Just like before, we want the community to be involved in shaping the server.

To follow our progress and stay in touch with us, check out our Discord channel and also our Steam group.

Random / Re: JC2 FPS

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at getting a new PC that will run JC2MP at decent FPS. I'm not really the best with PCs so I thought I'd ask for some help. Here are the specs;

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750
12GB Ram
AMD A10-7850K Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores
4C + 8G 3.70GHz

Are these decent?

This would most certainly let you run the game with the highest quality settings. Just Cause 2 was released in 2010.

Releases / Re: Script to Keep Inventory on Death and Relogin?

Hey, you can find a working inventory system here: https://www.jc-mp.com/forums/index.php/topic,5966.msg43038.html#msg43038

The inventory system is part of a large server-wide gamemode. Unfortunately, you would have significant difficulty ripping it out of the the other scripts because almost all of the other ones use the inventory system in some way. It wouldn't be too hard to build one yourself; you just need to use SQL to store and retrieve data, move that data, represent that data on the client using some UI, and make sure your system is dynamic. I'm happy to answer any questions you have on building a good inventory system, but I can't offer my help in isolating certain scripts from the FC Script Pack for your use.

Good luck!

we just prefer jc2mp  jc3 is weird .. c'est une daube ! ;)
I agree, JC3 is crap, indeed  ;)
Really enjoying playing on your server though. Would be nice to see a higher player count at times too......
Starsky, tell me, do you know if the "Submarine" was included in the script pack for the server? I only ask because I remember taking part in the trial when it was testing in FC and it would be fun to have on your server as well.

It warms my heart to hear someone asking about my submarine script almost a year after we had that crazy test on the original Fallen Civilization server  :)
It's definitely one of my favorite jc2mp creations and like LF said, it never made it into our survival world.

thanks for your answers, you are so speed and creative. ;)

NB: i try to search a script for the french azerty keyboard cause the sliding kick its Q ..kind of
A=Q    Z=W  and  Q is also boost & left :/
so we need to change all time the keyboard in parameters

Happy new year to the team

Happy new year to you too.

Another thing you can do, that will work on any server where you don't like the keybindings, is to use this Key Remapper I made a while back for AZERTY players in jc2mp.
It requires Windows however.
