Freeroam is the "normal" mode when players are all in one world and do what they want to.
Those default scripts all come with the server in "default scripts" folder, if I recall correct.

Assuming you run a freeroam server, buymenu is generally used for spawning vehicles.
This release of buymenu might be what you need ( I don't really remember if the original one from default package has DLC items ).
There's a dedicated "DLC" tab for vehicles and DLC weapons are at the bottom of the list as far as I remember.
If player doesn't have the DLC  in question then nothing would happen for them when they attempt to buy it ( I'm not 100% sure though because I always owned all DLC and that script doesn't seem to have hasvehicleDLC() / hasweaponDLC() check in it ).

Generally, all DLC items would appear invisible and unusable to non-owners of said DLC.

Nice one, I always appreciate when people share stuff, it makes sense to have this on more servers. I needed this myself, was thinking of making it myself eventually and you saved me like 10 mins.


Sorry for late reply, I mean I tried providing it with a class function as argument, like

Judging by the error reading, the function argument that the timer extension receives is nil so it can't act and errors.
It's not like I'm in any trouble really, I was just trying out different tools posted here that potentially could make it easier without having to create sub/unsub ticks and timers.

It seems that I can't use class function as callback argument unless (I guess) I make timerextension a class as well an init within that class (I hope I described it well)?

Ain't that about a *****, I also always getting annoyed that lua (or this particular API) cares so much about letter case. One wrong symbol and it won't return ****. Also, commas, brackets, ends etc.

I can't think of anything to recommend... I've a pretty same situation (connecting from 2nd account on laptop to server hosted on desktop), all works for me.
Maybe there's something on the router that's the culprit?

JasonMRC seems to manage to help whole world, he helped me recently too.
So I went onto your server that day, tried aiming / shooting pistol/sniper, didn't notice any movement limitation. What I did notice though is that grenade throw seems to be assigned to RMB key, not action.fireright. So I kept throwing them each time I aim (I use RMB instead of C) until I ran out of them. Just a note.

This is the sub that is spawned with the Game:FireEvent, the guns protect the desk inside the sub. Anyway to get them back?
Is there anything else cool/useful about that version of submarine compared to just a static object?

This is definitely exciting. I recall we tried to do a football game once by using a player-occupied tuk-tuk as a ball... Didn't work out much due to him falling out of it when it was flipped all the time.
I've tried this out, indeed collision is like point-to-point so it's tricky and doesn't feel right at times cuz it doesn't account for vehicle geometry, but it's very cool and I hope some servers pick it up.
Btw, is it possible to make balls not expire? For me, they disappear after about 1 minute.

SubZer0 truly was one of the most impactful, passionate and dedicated jcmp members.
What he experienced, achieved and shared with many fellow players is simply priceless and I'm glad I knew him.
It was shocking and devastating to hear the sad news.
I've so very recently (like 2-3 weeks ago) had a chat with him when we reflected on our past in jcmp and assured each other we should meet again in jc3mp. So sad he won't be there anymore. I so wish I could have another good old Parofed trip with him.

One thing has occurred to me when browsing through these old screenshots from beta-tests - because people always gathered around him and followed him, on vast majority of the pictures he's always surrounded by a crowd of fellow players. Wasn't easy to find pictures where he is solo. Just showcases how great he was in communication and leading people.

Ich nehme an, Sie haben JC2 nicht seit der Umstellung auf Microsoft Windows 10 gestartet.
Sie müssen zuerst die JC2 Singleplayer zu starten, wird es installiert die benötigten Dateien (wie C + redist oder Net Framework oder etwas), stellen Sie sicher, JC2 funktioniert, dann wieder jc-mp versuchen zu starten. Sie können auch versuchen, das Spiel-Cache für veryfing beide JC2 und jc-mp.
