I had so much fun during this test. Saturday was spent taxiing people, exploring the map, downhill racing at the ski slope and skydiving off the desert mountain. Highlights have gotta be the Destruction Derby at the Dish and the Frozen Lake Stunt Jumping n Sunday. The amount of people on the chat that joined us in the mayhem was nothing short of awesome! Must've been 50+ people at the dish destroying eachother at one stage!

Welll I thought it was amazing! Seriously devs- that was some of the most fun I've even had gaming! There were some issues with the game but overall it was a thoroughly satistfying experience.

On the gameplay side there were things missing- more teleport points spread across the map are needed- although perhaps not in the major areas as this tends to attract heli rocket spammers.

The hit detetction was very unpredictable! During one session I seemed fine- being able to shoot people and even kill them. In another I couldn't register a single hit and I would be put down by a shotgun in seconds.

Th grapple glirch was fun to play with- though it would be nice to see it gone eventually. This is where you grapple a vehicle and sombody else tows it..... the vehicle then proceeds to flay around the screen glitching out.

Passenger seats are also not 100% correct yet. Lot's of times people get stuck in the vehicle and it's very tough to get into the passenger side of the vehicles with entry overlaps.

There are many things that couold be implemented to make the game more fun. I like the idea of a invunrability/no weapons mode. This would allow those who wish to do road trips safety and also mean that trolls cannot just become invincible and kill everyone (because they do not have a weapon). I would also like to see no-fly zones implemented (if that is even possible). Also, the helicopters seem a tad overpowered.

Anyways, I'm aware none of this will really effect current development but thought I would throw in some notes on my experience. Other than the occasional crash this build was very stable for me- I played over 30 hours over the course of the weekend and had no major problems really..... hell..... fifa crashes on me more than JCMP!!!!!

I clocked up 30hours in Panau over the course of the weekend. It was an absoluteblast! I think I can wait a few weeks til the next beta now!

May I also kindly request that the devs increase car spawns near the dish and reduce the helicopters..... or at least plant some mini guns to take the helicopters down.

Anyone else every play Smugglers Run 1/2 on PlayStation 2?
omg hell yeah! some of the best fun I ever had was playing smugglers run with a friend- swapping the controller to be the protagonist. This one time I did a jump off one of the hills, flying through the air gloriously, I landed thinking I had got away. Unbeknownst to me, several other enemy vehicles had followed and they too had jumped off the hill.... with one fatefully falling from the sky and hitting me square on the roof disabling my car. It was hilarious!

Though you might have to beef up whatever car is doing the 'running'. From what I remember you tend to take a lot of punishement with 20 vehicles chasing you! Even more so in JCMP I would imagine, with the dodgy vehicle handling and rough terrain.

Yeah, I saw your group on steam and have already joined up- can't wait to be cruising through Panau in a Maddox with a guy in the passenger seat, one in the gun turret and another on the bonnet..... mobile mayhem!

I'm alsp interested in some kind of objectives- racing to certain points, stunt displays, capture the vehicle, horseshoe island wars etc etc. Something competative to go along with the co op. Any ideas?

Hey, so I managed to miss out on all of the mayhem over the summer on JCMP but I'm eagearly awaiting the next beta to give it a try.

Although I'm aware the betas are not run for gameplay purposes I'm just wondering how many players would be interested in running ad hoc missions/set pieces during the beta- either just for laughs or maybe even as the beginnings of coming up with ideas for team missions that could be run on servers when JC MP is finally released

I'm also aware that a bunch of activities have gethered momentum- ski slope racing, satellite dish destruction derby, pie island annhilation, race track mayhem, base jumping, desert stunt jumping and of course, getting blown up at the airport while trying to take off etc etc. I was thinking of things in addition to this e.g.

Bridge Convoy

One team of three URGA-9380 and six Maddox in convoy have to make it from city to city via the suspended bridges. Against them are a team of three or four jet fighters (Pell Silverbolts, SI-47 Leopard and G9 Eclipses). This would have to be tested out of course but it might be fun racing across the bridge in a URGA at full throttle knowing there's incoming fighters and hoping your maddox will protect you!
Anybody got any other simple ideas that could be tested/implemented while in beta stages?
